Effective October 7, 2026 · Applies to the mind-full app for iPhone
mind-full is built to keep your information on your own device. There are no accounts to create, no ads, no tracking, and we do not sell your information. This page explains exactly what is stored, what leaves your device, and why.
1. What stays on your device
Everything you enter in mind-full is saved locally on your iPhone. This includes your name and sun sign from setup, events, to-dos and lists, daily check-ins and reflections (such as mood, intention, gratitude, and notes), and cycle information you choose to log (such as period dates, cycle length, and symptoms). We do not run a server that stores this information, and we cannot see it.
mind-full also keeps a backup copy of this information in the app’s own storage area on your phone, so it can be restored if the app’s data is cleared. That file stays on your device and may be included in your own iCloud or computer backups of your iPhone, according to your device settings.
2. What leaves your device
Only the following features send information off your device, and only when you use them.
AI features (insights, voice and text event entry, list splitting, and weekly or monthly summaries). When you use these, the text needed for that request is sent to Anthropic, the provider of the Claude AI model, to generate a reply. Depending on the feature, this can include your first name, sun sign, moon phase, cycle phase and day, symptoms or mood you have logged, journal text for pattern insights, and the event or list text you typed or spoke. Requests pass through a relay server we operate on Cloudflare, which checks that the request comes from the app and forwards it to Anthropic. The relay does not store or log the content of your requests. Under Anthropic’s published API terms, content sent through its API is not used to train its models by default. Anthropic’s own privacy policy applies to how it handles requests.
Weather. If you allow location access, your approximate coordinates are sent to OpenWeatherMap to get the local forecast. We do not store your location.
Moon phase data. The app may request moon phase data from FreeAstroAPI. This request does not include your name or other personal information, but, like any internet request, the provider can see your device’s IP address.
Subscriptions. Purchases are processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to confirm whether your subscription is active and to restore it on a new device. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user identifier and purchase information (such as which plan you hold and its dates). We never see or store your payment details.
Voice entry. If you use voice entry, your speech is converted to text using Apple’s speech recognition. Audio may be processed by Apple according to Apple’s privacy policy.
3. Permissions the app may ask for
Location (while using the app): to show local weather.
Microphone and speech recognition: for voice entry of events and lists.
Calendars and reminders: to show your existing events alongside your plans, and, if you turn it on, to sync events to a calendar on your phone. This stays between the app and your device’s calendar.
Notifications: to send reminders you schedule. These are created on your device.
Photos: only if you choose to add or save images.
You can change any of these at any time in your iPhone’s Settings. Declining a permission only turns off the related feature.
4. Cycle and wellness information
Cycle phase estimates and wellness insights in mind-full are for general reflection only. They are not medical advice and are not a medical device, and should not be used for contraception, diagnosis, or treatment. Talk to a qualified healthcare professional about health concerns.
5. Sharing
We do not sell your information, share it for advertising, or use analytics or tracking tools. The only third parties that receive information are the service providers named in section 2, and only to provide the feature you are using.
6. Keeping and deleting your information
Because your data lives on your device, you control it. Deleting the app removes the data stored in it. Copies in your own iCloud or computer backups remain until you delete those backups. Requests sent to Anthropic are handled under Anthropic’s retention policies. If you have questions or want help, contact us at the address below.
7. Children
mind-full is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
8. Changes
If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date at the top. Material changes will also be noted in the app or its release notes.
